Billa Park Simmental Stud

Living in the harsh enviroment of the Western Downs of southern Queensland, we believe in breeding functional cattle to suit all types of marketing needs, yet still put huge emphasis on quality. For this reason Billa Park is one of the most noted Simmental studs in Queensland. Billa Park's goal of breeding the prefect beast has seen them buy many top priced bulls along with many broad ribbon winners at Royal Shows. Billa Park is also going down a new breeding line in South African Simmentals. We have seen the benefits of mixing a combination of outcross and true and tested genetics throughout our herd. The traits such as hair type, colour and structure are some features South Africian cattle are renowned for. Polled genetics are also popping their head up through our herd. While many herds are strongly going down the polled line, we are in full belief that we have to worry about the quality of an animal before the polled head.
